About Addie

Queer & Neurodivergent Interdisciplinary Artist

I am an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Washington, DC. I am a current resident at Ampersand Artspace, a ceramic studio in Mt. Rainier, MD. I work with whatever I can to create layered artworks inspired by my everyday life. My work does not show one particular space or time but expresses anxiety, memory, identity, time, and escapism and how they can affect perception or experiences.

When I am not making art, I love being outside, reading, and cuddling with my two senior dogs. I also organize art activations with CulturalDC, am an educator with the National Portrait Gallery (Smithsonian Institution), and advocate for women and the arts.

I love collaborating with other artists and organizations and am always open to interesting projects. If you’re part of a non-profit that benefits women’s health, children’s literacy, or doggos, please reach out for some in-kind artwork to support your cause.
